The final painstaking hand-rubbed finishing process involves many steps: fine hand-sanding of the topcoat; rubbing with fine steel wool; a hand application of paste wax; and finally, a hand buffing to create the smoothest, richest patina imaginable.
  
  Your design choices are virtually limitless as Wood-Mode offers an impressive range of styles, colors, woods, laminates, mouldings and hardware. You may choose between Wood-Mode's Design Group 42 which consists of traditional framed-construction cabinetry or Wood-Mode's Design Group 84, an extensive collection of frameless cabinetry styles ranging from cool and contemporary to warm and traditional. Discontinued finishes can be reproduced, so you can always color match additional cabinetry, even after decades have gone by.

You can choose between the modern frameless construction of Brookhaven I or the time-honored "full frame" look of Brookhaven II line. Cabinet sides are extra thick for extra durability. And joined with the strongest bond possible - just like fine furniture. The spacious 100-pound capacity solid wood dovetail drawers open effortlessly and quietly and close with a gentle nudge. The deep penetrating stain is at the heart of the finishing process. Over it, a baked on sealer and catalytic varnish create a protective barrier up to 60% deeper than those of other manufacturers. Finally, the surfaces are painstakingly hand-buffed. The result? A satiny-smooth, easy-to-clean finish that brings out all the beauty of the wood grain and provides superior protection against scratches, stains and household chemicals.
