Problem:

The exiting kitchen was very dark, small and did not fit the client's current lifestyle of more informal entertaining.

Solution:

The wall between the formal dining room and kitchen was removed, a 36' I-beam for support was added, a 5' commercial range focal area was added as well as a 48" built-in refrigerator. to add light, recessed can lights were placed in the ceiling and the many glass doors incorporated into the design also reflect light. In addition, please note the unique hardware and contrasting style between the wall and base cabinetry doors.
