The area was changed to an L-shaped kitchen with an island.

These were eliminated and a combination oven/range unit was used.

Recessed light cans were placed in the ceiling and Xenon under-cabinet lights were added to provide task lighting on the countertops.

A new pantry was designed and incorporated new, efficient shelf and storage solutions.
